Integral Leadership Profile (ILP 180)
What is a 180-degree feedback?
The survey is a skills assessment which provides feedback about how, on average, others perceive your leadership and managerial style. By comparing self and others' perceptions you can recognise your strengths, identify improvement opportunities and develop plans for your personal and professional development. This involves gathering feedback from yourself as well as from your line manager and one additional person (your 'raters') on how you are behaving in your role. As the 180° Survey gathers feedback from 2 people, the individual can be identified – your selected raters will receive an invitation with this information as well so that they are aware.
The value of 180-degree feedback
Gathers feedback from yourself as well as your line manager and one additional person (your 'raters').
Helps you understand your strengths and areas of development.
Provides a benchmark for assessing improvement.
How many raters should I invite? Who should they be?
Invite 1-2 raters. Your manager and someone who you work with regularly and therefore has good observance of your leadership skills.
Notifying your selected raters
After you have completed your survey, you will be asked to invite 2 raters – your line manager and one additional person, someone who you work with regularly and therefore has good observance of your leadership skills. While the raters will receive an invitation from the survey platform, we recommend that you send your rater a personal email letting them know they have been selected as your raters. You find a template for this here.
Who will get to see my results?
The report is your property. You alone decide on whether you want to share it with someone and who to share it with.
However, we highly recommend to share and discuss the results with your manager. The 180° survey is a great conversation starter to support you in addressing areas of improvement and together with your manager form an action plan.
When will I receive the results?
The results will be made available after the completion of the survey period and part of a Group Debrief.
Our feedback tool
Integral have developed several feedback tools, serving various industries or sectors. All tools are based on the Integral Model of Leadership and Management, a wholistic cross-cultural approach mapping human skills, abilities and behaviours based on Ken Wilber's work on Integral Theory and adapted to leadership by Dr. Ron Cacioppe, founder of Integral.
The Integral Model of Leadership captures the skills and behaviours of high performing leaders and managers, identified by the four quadrants of contemporary leadership and management, the eight roles of leaders and manager and the core qualities of the authentic self.
