Alan has 10 years experience as a WA Government Director General and CEO leading large organisations with diverse and complex services, significant human service delivery challenges, major change programs and significant infrastructure developments.
Background
Alan’s background is delivering exceptionally large projects, complex IT and as a Director General in WA Government. Alan has worked as an independent consultant since 2005, including an executive project role on Fiona Stanley Hospital and coordinating the technology design and installation for Optus Stadium. As a CEO in Government he led works and services delivery for 4 years and Justice for 7 years.
Alan has wide experience in executive management and project delivery and brings a practical approach to getting things done – ranging from construction projects to new community re-entry programs for women. He has qualifications in Engineering, Value Management, an MBA and has completed the ICF coaches training. Alan is also a MHFA Accredited First Aider.
How I Work
I enjoy working with people to get real change and workable strategies in place. My approach is practical and guided by a wide range of personal experience. Clients like the clarity of feedback and the help to get an insight which works for them.
What I do
I coach people at all levels and across a range of industry sectors including government. I advise clients on business and IT strategy, change and organisation performance.
What I love
Outdoors (have completed the Bibbulmun), being around the grandkids and good red wine.
