Kim Mason

Kim was a Colonel in the British Army and has over 30 years leadership experience in the military and private sector. Kim holds an MBA and is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the Association of Project Managers. Kim is passionate about helping people grow through coaching and rugby.

Kim is a result-focused and influential individual who has created success for individuals, teams and organisations. Kim has highly developed interpersonal and communication competencies, adaptable and creative with excellent briefing and presentational skills. 

Kim is experienced in national and international relationship management at the senior level. He has a refined, clear and engaging communication and presentation style irrespective of environment. Kim is able to influence, inspire, coach and lead through emotional intelligence, integrity and an engaging personality. He is practiced in developing international training liaison, cooperation and collaboration. 

Kim is a trained management consultant experienced in organisational performance analysis, strategic planning and capability analysis, behaviour, change and development. Qualified in commercial and technical acquisition project and programme management.

Kim’s focus is on leadership performance and development, high impact communication and presentation skills, coaching executives, professionals, individuals and team development to enhance leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to overcome barriers to progress. Experienced in organisational analysis and development, lessons learned processes, capability analysis, performance management, behaviour, change management and development.

Qualifications

Kim holds an MBA and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Management Consultants (AIMC) and the Association of Project Managers – Professional (APMP). Kim is also a Graduate of the British Army Officer School, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Industry experience

As a former British Army Officer, Kim has 30 years of experience as an effective and successful leader in both military and civilian organisations. He has worked with a wide spectrum of National and International organisations and management appointments within challenging and changing environments. This has included organisations within the private and public sector, International Government, Local Government, Foreign Office, Military and Civilian Defence Industries, Engineering, Legal and Accountancy.
